LARGE POTS ARE AVAILABLE BY COMMISSION ONLY.

I make large pots using a traditional Korean coil and throw method. The base of the pot is thrown, and then large clay coils are attached to the base, compressed, and paddles, this method is repeated until the pot is complete. The coil-thrown and paddle method allows potters to create vessels much larger than could typically be thrown in a single piece. The paddling compresses the walls making the pot volumetric and structurally sound.
